Aged Earl Grey – Organic Black Tea from India with a Citrus-like Taste of Bergamot
Numi's Aged Earl Grey is a black, caffeine rich, organic tea based on Assam tealeafs and bergamot, a citrus-like fruit. This tea is an ideal substitute for English Breakfast tea and can be consumed when in need of an energy boost at any time of the day. The caffeine content in Aged Earl Grey from Numi is just enough to give you the boost you're looking for.
Assam vs. Darjeeling
Aged Earl Grey from Numi is based on Assam tea. Assam and Darjeeling are two of the most famous kinds of tea. They are harvested in different areas and locations in India. Because of the difference in geographic location, and therefore weather conditions, humidity, ect., both Assam and Darjeeling tea have a unique and different taste. Assam tea is harvested in a more humid area, in a valley, making it a darker colour and a more robust malt-like flavour. Darjeeling, on the other hand, is grown at higher altitudes at the foot of the Himalayas and has a milder flavour.
