Kotobuki Matcha tea from Amanprana: a green tea of the highest quality
Amanprana kotobuki matcha tastes sweet with a soft aftertaste. The tea is in a violet glass jar to protect the top quality from light and oxygen. Amanprana's Matcha is certified organic and comes from the Shimoyama region in Japan. Kotobuki Matcha tea is harvested at an altitude of 600 meters, in the middle of the mountains, far from industry and villages.
Chlorophyll provides an intense green color and a high concentration of beneficial nutrients
The tea plantations for Matcha are covered with dark tarpaulins 4 weeks before harvest. As a result, the tea plants receive 90% less sunlight. To compensate, the tea plants intensively produce chlorophyll, the leaves produce a lot of amino acids and the intense green color is created.
Unlike regular green tea where only an infusion or decoction of the leaves is drunk, with matcha the tea leaves are ground into powder. This way you drink the whole leaf, as it were, and all valuable nutrients are absorbed.
Chlorophyll is the blood of the plant and its chemical composition is 98% identical to our blood.
What is kotobuki matcha?
'Kotobuki' means 'long life' and 'blessing' in Japanese. With this, Amanprana refers to the high nutritional value of its Matcha tea, namely Kotobuki quality. There is also a Kotobuki Rooibos tea .
Amanprana only uses the finest young leaves of the Camellia Sinensis for its matcha, produced in an organic manner. The veins of the green tea leaves are expertly removed, after which the leaves are ground very slowly on handmade granite mills into an ultra-fine tea powder. This happens at only 40g per hour. You can see this in the color of the matcha and you can also taste it. The Japanese Amanprana matcha sommelier supervises the production process and applies strict standards.
Why buy Amanprana kotobuki Matcha?
There is a lot of difference in the quality of Matcha . There is matcha for culinary use (cheaper and with a less refined taste), to matcha for ceremonial use and of premium quality (most expensive).
Amanprana Matcha is premium quality with a high nutritional value and certified organic (tea without heavy metals, chemicals or pesticides).
Amanprana Kotobuki Matcha is the best quality Matcha tea with the highest ORAC value (= antioxidant content) among the premium Matchas. Kotobuki Matcha is used in tea ceremonies and served in Japan's finest teahouses.
