This make-up pencil from ZAO can be used as an eyebrow pencil, eye pencil and lip liner. It is an all-round make-up pencil with a dark brown colour suitable for a variety of skin colours and hair colours. The colour enriches depending on how it is applied. And here we can also apply the general make-up rule: light hair-types are complemented well by darker make up shades, while dark or black hair-types are well complemented better by lighter make up shades which soften their look.
In this make-up pencil the shea butter ensures that your skin remains smooth. You won’t get a pulling feeling when you apply this to accentuate your mouth, eyebrows or eyes.
Karite butter or shea butter (in the ingredients list this is listed as Butyrospermum Parkii Butter) has been used for decades to help protect and take care of the skin, relieve muscle or joint pains and to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy. The skin feels smooth and ageing is counteracted.
In addition, shea butter is deemed to be hypoallergenic, which makes this make-up pencil suitable for all types of skin. The most sensitive skins or those with sensitive eyes or lens wearers will not be irritated by this pencil.
The shea butter ZAO has used in this make-up pencil is organic.
Combine this all-round pencil with a dark brown structuring mascara from ZAO to prevent colour differences in your make-up. This gives you a natural look.
The most sensitive eyes can tolerate this natural mascara. It is suitable for regular use and can easily be removed with Alana, the make-up remover from Amanprana, or the Gentle Cleanse & Make-up removed from Green People.

| Use | As Eyebrow PencilDraw short, skewed stripes in between your eyebrow hairs. Try to avoid drawing straight or unnaturally long lines. This way your filled in eyebrows will look more natural. For oval faces, eyebrows with a natural arch are the best way to go. They look the most natural and beautiful. Round faces benefit most from a ‘cornered’ arch. Give your arch a slight angle to add more dimensions to your round face. Long faces can be accentuated best with light and long eyebrows, for a more natural look. A square face can be softened with a softer eyebrow arch.
As Eye Pencil (Eyeliner)Start at the outer corner of each eye and work your way towards the inner corners. Make sure that the line on the bottom eyelid is less thick. (Make-up on the bottom eyelids can highlight tiredness or dark circles).
As LiplinerA lip liner accentuates the shape of your mouth and prolongs the effect of lipstick or lipstick. Always start in the ‘v’ of your upper lip and in the middle of your bottom lip. Draw slightly outwards. Then, start from the outer corners of your mouth and move inwards, connecting to the previously drawn lines. |
