In order to best achieve the flavours of the most popular tea among the Chinese flower teas, jasmine flowers are steamed together with green tea and then removed. Jasmine flowers are picked around noon, taken to the tea farm the same day and steamed overnight. Green tea jasmine has a fine perfume note and tastes mellow-tart. It is a particularly popular companion for food and - how could it be otherwise – goes especially well with Asian cuisine.
The double chamber bag containing this tea gives its taste even better to the water than a conventional single tea bag, because the surface is much larger in comparison and twice as much filling volume fits in a bag.
