Beans made entirely from cocoa and fruit... at this stage of refinement it would be a shame to call it chocolate. Our raw cocoa beans are offered to you in their simplest form , naked or simply delicately covered with a fine cloth of raw chocolate and a veil of cocoa butter.
Eating a few raw cocoa beans every now and then is simply tasting chocolate in its purest, yet extravagant form! Rrraw's raw cacao beans are crunchy, stimulating and euphoric. Because at Rrraw you get the cocoa bean in all its purity. These cocoa beans are without sugar.
These raw cacao beans are harvested and fermented in their own wild environment. They were then dried in the Peruvian sun. Rrraw's raw cocoa beans retain all their aromatic power and nutritional benefits thanks to the natural production process , without roasting or cooking.
How to eat raw cacao beans?
You can eat raw cocoa beans straight away. You may first have to get used to the pure taste of cocoa. This is completely different from (classic) chocolate. It is a completely different taste experience: less sweet, a bit bitter, drier, but crunchy. Rrraw adds a sweet touch to these cocoa beans by covering the cocoa beans with a delicious layer of raw chocolate.
Why eat raw cacao or raw chocolate?
Raw cacao beans are packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, flavonoids and theobromine; all good nutrients. In regular chocolate, the nutrients of cocoa are largely lost due to the roasting of the cocoa beans.
Many sugars and fats are also added to regular chocolate, which does not do justice to the taste and healthy properties of cocoa. So it is definitely recommended to taste raw cacao. A whole new taste sensation.
